I plugged my M-BRIO into my Mac. The unit seems to work perfectly except that it constantly disconnects and reconnects via USB. This happens about once a minute. I’ve firmly inserted the USB-C cable both ways, but it still happens.
When connecting the device to a Mac (such as a MacBook Pro, iMac, or Mac Pro), please ensure that your DAW (or other MIDI-compatible software) is launched before beginning any testing.

If the software is not opened first, the controller may repeatedly restart as it continuously searches for available MIDI ports, since no MIDI connection is detected.
Can the M-BRIO MIDI CC controller communicate with instruments other than the computer?
This controller can only communicate with a computer and cannot directly control other hardware instruments.
Can the controller set up MIDI/CC connections alone through its display, or is a DAW/software needed first?
Yes, this controller enables the independent setting of MIDI CC. No additional software installation (drivers or editor apps) is required. This feature is the unique design aspect of this product.
